Dogecoin could be the currency of the internet, according to Robinhood CEO

Yesterday, the CEO of Robinhood Vladimir Tenev took to Twitter to express his support for DogeCoin, calling it a “currency of the internet.” The tweet quickly went viral, with many people expressing their excitement about the possibility of DogeCoin becoming a mainstream currency.

Can Doge truly be the future currency of the internet…?

Vlad (Robinhood CEO) tweeted

He is not the only one who has noticed how much potential this meme-coin seems to have. After reading through 12 posts by him that were shared across almost 200,000 followers on Twitter and outlined what steps needed to be taken in order to transform it into something usable for payments as well transactions online; I think we can agree with regard to changing our opinion about these coins after all!

Tenev then pointed out that the transaction fees for Dogecoin are only $0.003, which makes it possible to consider this altcoin as a feasible e-cash contender in comparison with other cryptocurrencies on the market today.

The future of Dogecoin

While there is no doubt that DogeCoin saw a meteoric rise in popularity last year, it is still far from being a mainstream currency. For now, it remains to be seen whether or not Robinhood’s endorsement will be enough to push DogeCoin into the mainstream.
