Amazon CEO talks about cryptocurrencies and NFTs

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told CNBC on Thursday that he is optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies and NFTs, but that Amazon is not close to adding cryptocurrency as a payment method on its platform.

I do believe over time that you’ll see crypto become bigger.

Jassy said that he does not own any bitcoin or NFTs himself, but that he believes in the potential of both technologies, but that there are no immediate plans to add crypto payments.
